The Italianate style was originally popularized in the U.S. in the mid-nineteenth century as an alternative to the Gothic and Greek Revival styles. The pair of “sibling” townhouses above are located on North Duke Street, and both currently serve as one of the offices of C.S. Davidson, Inc. This print would be a great addition to any local history or architecture lover's home.
