York Telephone & Telegraph Company - Sculptural Details

The designs of the stone sculptural reliefs on the York Telephone and Telegraph Company building, while the original artist is unknown, were likely coordinated and influenced by Reinhardt Dempwolf (the building’s architect). The forms twist and undulate between the organic and the mechanical, almost suggestive of telecommunications cabling and other similar infrastructure. This print would be a great addition to any architecture lover's home.
